Here are the final games for the SCMS Boys' basketball season. During half time of the last home game, we will acknowledge our 8th grade basketball players and cheer leaders. During the acknowledgement, these student athletes will need an escort to walk out with them. Please send the name and relation of the escort so we may properly announce the names.

Newport News Shipbuilding’s Apprentice School is hosting its next FORWARD (Future Opportunities Reaching the Workforce Apprentice Readiness and Development) Pre-Apprenticeship event on Saturday, March 14, from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

This event is for high school students and will include hands-on demonstrations in a virtual simulation lab, a short tour of The Apprentice School and a Q & A session. Registration opens on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 8:30 a.m. Seats are limited for this event.

Student tickets are $5, and parent/guardian tickets are free.
