All afterschool activities for Sussex County Public Schools are canceled today, March 5, 2025, due to weather concerns. We are closely monitoring weather conditions to ensure student safety. Dismissal will occur at our normally scheduled times unless a delay is deemed necessary.
Sussex County Public School's Interim Report Pick-Up is changed from March 5, 2025 to Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Sussex County Public Schools will return to a unified start time for the 2025-2026 school year. Student hours will be from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Students will begin school on August 18, 2025!
The Greensville County Department of Gifted Education will host the thirty-ninth Meherrin Summer Regional Governor’s School in 2025 for identified gifted students in the General Intellectual Aptitude area who are currently in grades 4-7. The five counties who will be invited to participate are Brunswick, Mecklenburg, Southampton, Sussex, and Greensville.The program will be held June 9-12, and June 18-21, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Students are expected to attend every day.
