🚨SCPS Alert: An annual random muilti-district K-9 officer exercise was conducted today to ensure our school campus remains drug & weapon free. Controlled movement was active while the exercise was underway. All is clear. Schools have now resumed their regular operating status.

It is that time of year! The 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Miles B. Carpenter Folk Art Museum in Waverly will be today, December 6, 2024, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
SCPS families are invited to support the holiday parade in Waverly on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 10:00 am!
SCPS will be on a 2-hour delay on Friday, December 6, 2024, due to the anticipated low morning temperatures. Sussex Central Middle School & Sussex Central High School will open at 9:00 am. Sussex Central Elementary School will open at 10:30 am.
Join us for Computer Science night on December 11, 2024 in conjunction with interim pick-up. SCHS & SCMS, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. SCES, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

SCPS Notification: A SCES student was found to be in possession of a kitchen knife. Our local law enforcement assisted in the investigation and no one was threatened nor was the kitchen knife ever exposed. Discipline has been issued. Please remind all students not to bring unauthorized items to school.
SCPS Notification: High & Middle School buses will be 15 minutes behind for dismissal today Nov. 18th. This may also put elementary buses slightly behind their dismissal times as well. Sorry for any inconvenience.
