It's hard to believe that we've made it to the last week of the 2025-2026 school year! Thank you to all parents and guardians for the support throughout the year. It is my hope that you and your child(ren) have a safe and enjoyable summer with lots of laughs, memories, and quality time together. Please see below for a few updates and reminders:
SCMS Athletics Reminder
Team pictures will be taken tomorrow for Football, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, and Track.
Please make sure all uniforms are brought and turned in to avoid being charged for missing equipment.
Football players must wear blue jeans for pictures.
Let’s represent SCMS Athletics the right way by looking neat, professional, and respectful. Go Tigers! ~ Coach Dunn
Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony will be held at Sussex Central High School's auditorium on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. followed by grades 6 and 7 awards ceremony beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Sussex Central Middle School's gymnasium.
Field day will be held on the last day of school, Friday, May 29, 2026.

Attention SCES Parents,
Summer school applications for recommended students will be sent home again today. This is the second attempt. Please contact your child's teacher to verify whether or not your child has been recommended for R.I.S.E. Summer School. Applications are due this Friday, 5/15/26. Please refer to the attached images for more details.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Sussex Central Elementary School. This is the FINAL REGISTRATION before school closes for the Summer. Please see the flyer for more details.

Here is the Criteria:
1. For Post-Secondary School Enrollment (Trades Program, Community College, or University Program)
2. No Renewal- One Time Student Award
3. Amount Awarded Based on Need
Each senior was emailed a copy of the application and we also printed copies that are available in Counseling Office.
Parents we will also EMAIL the application if requested!
Call Us and Ask for the School Counseling Suite!
