SCHS will begin SOL testing on December 9, 2025. In an effort to continuously support student achievement, we are providing an Instructional Bazaar for students as a final opportunity to prepare for SOL testing.
We know our students have the knowledge and ability to meet—and surpass—standardized testing expectations. Sometimes, they simply need a reminder of just how brilliant they truly are!
As we enter SOL testing season, please continue having encouraging conversations with your child(ren). Let’s show them that we care and that anything they dream of is absolutely possible!

It is my hope that everyone enjoyed a restful, relaxing, and exciting fall break with friends and loved ones. As we count down these last three weeks of instruction before the winter break, we'd like to share some updates with you.

All SOL exams are administered in a secure, in-school testing environment.
Students will receive their scores from their classroom teachers shortly after testing concludes. Parents will receive a copy of their student’s scores along with the report card, which will be mailed home on January 21, 2026.

SCHS Announcement: High School Afterschool Remediation Program
We’re excited to announce that High School Afterschool Remediation will begin on Thursday, November 13, 2025!
An application will be sent home with all SCHS high school students this afternoon.
